Vpet Collection

My collection of tamagotchis and oddpets! ^-^

Tamagotchi

Angelgotchi (1997) - Blue Shell Aquired with matching blue case in NIB condition. I don't care for the vintage era of gameplay but I love the angel theme!
Angelgotchi (1997) - Pink Shell Aquired with matching pink case in NIB condition. Has the newer style buttons with an angel butt instead of a toilet! The screen is very faded but the screws are partially stripped, so I haven't attemped to restore it.
Akai Tamagotchi (2005) - White Shell I sought out the akai series because of the red LCD screen! The red-themed foods like wine and cherries are a cute touch as well :') The white shell wasn't my first choice, but I found it at a good price and it's really grown on me!
Akai Tamagotchi (2005) - Red Apple Shell One of my favorite shells of all time! I think the yellow+apple theme is just so happy, I've wanted this one for years :)
Akai Tamagotchi (2005) - Ciao Berry Shell Another one of my favorite shells! The buttons are very hard to press, but the screws are too stripped for me to fix the insides. :'(
Entama Tamagotchi (2005) - Ciao 30th Anniversary Mametchi Shell I ordered a custom antenna and replacement beads (modeled after the real thing) for this one. While I prefer the uratama overall, I do enjoy the entama series because it has some of my favorite characters the uratama doesn't have :> (i am a mimitchi die hard!)
Tamagotchi Kakeibo (2005) - Blue Version This one is a cute accessory device to the entama & uratama series! (Only the blue version works for both, the pink version only works for the entama). This device has an in-depth banking/savings/stocks system that lets you gain interest on your money, as well as extra shops to send items for your tamas and even a dodge ball game! My favorite feature is the touch screen, the antenna pulls out to become a stylus! Even now touch screen LCDs fascinate me, hehe.
Uratama Tamagotchi (2006) - Ura Rainbow Shell This one also has a custom antenna (I ordered quite a few of these!) that actually broke the first time, but the seller kindly sent me a replacement :') I love this shell, but I wanted to add a touch more pink to it!
Uratama Tamagotchi (2006) - Ura Party Shell The uratama series is one of my favorites from the connection line, due to the blue lcd screen and the character roster! I like the way the entama/uratama series handles the growth mechanic because it's not dependent on how well you take care of them, LMAO.
Tamagotchi School (2006) - Pink Plaid Shell Another excellent accessory device to the connection series! This one is very fun on its own, the gameplay is unlike the regular series in that you run a school and the goal is to collect students! This is the first version which has games in the subjects for language, math, and science. The school V2 has athletics, arts and music but they're super expensive :'( I also really appreciate the 6 buttons on this one! If you can find one for cheap I really recommend it :3
Familitchi Tamagotchi (2008) - Love My Family Shell I got this for cheap but it was missing its key, luckily I had a replacement ready ^.^ This is my favorite shell of the family series!
Tamagotchi Friends (2013) - Silver Blue Gem Shell I wasn't super familiar with the Tamagotchi Friends line, but I'm glad I picked one up! The roster is really cute, and I like the multi-toned lcd screen :) Fairly easy to take care of too!
Tamagotchi Sanrio M!X (2016) - Cream Yellow Shell One of my holy grail tamagotchis, seriously!! I was so excited to find this for under $60 USD, considering they are usually in the $100-200 range. This one is unique in that the babies are a mix of the parent's genes instead of a care-based system. I enjoy running this one, as it has a lot of content!
Tamagotchi Uni (2023) - Pink Shell The very first tamagotchi I got that kick started my whole collection! I have been considering getting a new color tamagotchi for a while but waited until the right release (the older ones get expensive quick, and I heard about button issues with the pix that turned me off from it). I still really enjoy the uni and would recommend it for anyone's first tama! After playing the older generations I've come to really appreciate the uni for it's quick response time and animations, wifi feature and usb charging!

Oddpets

Keroppi Vpet by Yabiko (1997) - Pink Shell The main attraction of this vpet for me is the shell, and the sprites! Otherwise the gameplay on this is very difficult XD I've managed to only get one tadpole to adulthood out of many runs, but still I don't regret getting this guy for display! ^_^
Pocket Hello Kitty by Nintendo (1998) I had both pocket pikachus as a kid, but they're lost now! So when I found out there was a hello kitty version, I had to seek one out! A very adorable pedometer pet that's pretty low key. There's no care involved, and when you walk you earn money in the form of "kitts". Those can be spent to go on adventures with hello kitty and gain items! Items can be used to transform Hello Kitty or play cute animations.
Teku Teku Angel (1997) - White Shell The teku teku angels are a series of pedometer pets! The concept is that you are connected with a "gel-kun" who grows with you as you take walks! You can set a step goal to meet everyday, and how long you want to run it (from 30,45,60,90 etc days) and how well you are able to meet that goal determines the type of angel you get! There is some japanese text but that doesn't get in the way of the gameplay.
Teku Teku Angel "Due" (1999) - Clear Teal Shell The second version of the Teku Teku Angel! I really prefer this version for its sleek and small design, color (I mean that clear teal is GORGEOUS), and character selection! The ending is a lot more satisfactory too, with a cute slideshow of all your characters you earned each day at the end of your run! I was lucky to find the matching accessory for $10 at the same time I grabbed this vpet :3
Angelscope by Bandai (1997) - Pink Shell A fortune telling vpet that's very text heavy! You input some brief info about yourself, and it gives you a daily fortune and you can pull tarot cards too. There is also a feature to connect two devices to predict what the user's baby will look like! The angel will beep for attention, but it beeps even if the sound is off so I store this one without batteries, lol!
Angelscope by Bandai (1997) - Blue Shell See above! Of course I grabbed a second one to see what it would say for me and my partner, lolol. I haven't actually taken it out of the package yet, but I'm saving it for a day I feel like translating haha. They're fairly dirt cheap on proxy services, too!
Micalun & Devitan by Bandai (1998) - White Shell Another fortune telling vpet by Bandai! This one predates the original Tamagotchis, and some of the sprite work seems to inspire some of the older tamas, too. This device lets you collect up to 26 angel & devil characters through a single-pull slots game. The two main characters tend to fight so you have to stop them before you gain a bandaid counter, which can remove characters you've earned (to my great demise). This one has super cute artwork and a GORGEOUS angel-wing shaped shell but minimal gameplay.
Micalun & Devitan by Bandai (1998) - Clear Pink Shell See above! I got this one after the white shell, and it came with its original packaging. I haven't played it yet and I keep this one for display, but you can also connect two devices to see your compatibility!
